Volvo owners appreciate their key fob's handy remote that comes with features. With a smartphone app they can lock and unlock the vehicle or start the engine and even locate it.

First, put the fob onto a clean surface with the logo facing upward. Locate the button that releases it, insert a coin between the cover and the fob and then pull it up with care.

Locking the Doors
