Why Buy a
double buggy newborn Running Buggy?
Traditional strollers are great for daily use, but if are planning to run with your children, you'll require a double-running buggy. They're specifically designed with jogging in mind and have large wheels, air-filled tyres and typically an upper wheel that locks for added suspension.
For occasional jogging models such as the Mountain Buggy Duet or Out'n'About Nipper Sport Double V4 will work. Hardcore runners might like the
double pushchairs for running, such as the Thule Cheetah 2.
Safety
A
double pram pushchair running buggy has three or four wheels (like a standard pram) but they are typically larger in size, with the front wheel locking to provide control and suspension. The handlebars will typically have a brake (similar
single to double buggy on bikes) so you can stop your buggy quickly and come with a wrist strap to ensure safety. There are also some that have a slightly reclined seating to give you more comfort when your children are taking a nap or eating. Keep in mind that babies should be at minimum nine months old before jogging with them in a buggy, and only when they're comfortable for long periods of time.
