The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a good option if you are on a budget and do not need an extra stroller that can be used as a car seat carrier. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop friendly.

It's also easy to push and feels sturdy in navigating kerbs or woodland paths. Plus, it's a dream to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate light-weight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, thanks to its nimble maneuverability and fold-down that fits into aeroplane overhead luggage. The latest version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels, made of Hytrel Elastomer, which allows it to effortlessly navigate across all types of surfaces and terrain'.

The base YOYO2 frame with a curved fabric bassinet as well as a six-month color pack combine to form a stylish pushchair that is easy to look at, with a subtle but elegant design and stylish branding. The base frame alone weighs less than a kilo and is so light you can easily lift it from the box (and do so one-handed).

The hood, for example snaps onto the YOYO2 in a reassuring manner. It is also machine washable up to 30 degrees which helps prevent the stains that result from smushed rice cakes and carrot puffs. 2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a fantastic choice for parents looking for an adaptable stroller wagon. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore can be converted from a stroller to an actual wagon by flipping the handle. Parents can then choose which one is the best single jogging stroller fit for their adventure. The wagon can accommodate two or three children ranging from 6 months to 5 years old. It has a huge storage basket that can accommodate everything you need when you are on the move.

The Xplore has two canopies that are able to rotate from front to back, ensuring adequate sun protection for the entire family. It also has a footwell that is not as deep or large as other wagons, which means it may not be ideal for long excursions or for napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy, but it doesn't bend as much as other wagons that we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competitors, and it does not lock tightly when folded. It is easy to move, however, and can fit through doors with a width of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and folded size, which means it's very light, compact when folded and easy to put into a trunk of a car or closet. It also comes with an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other important features include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

It did better in our push and turn test than many of the strollers we tested but is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades on it were among the smallest strollers we test. They only cover the top, and do not have peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.

It took us less than three minutes to put together the Delta using a standard manual. All of the components required tools. It is missing certain features we consider essential in double strollers. They include a large basket, reclining seats, and adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the latest addition to Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is described as an urban travel system. It can be used from birth until around 3.5-years-old. The carrycot and seat can be easily converted with only a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats and comes complete with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-incar base and a reversible baby carriage.

The seat can be reclined using one hand, and the big shopping basket makes it easy for parents to take their child in and out. This compact pushchair can handle everyday bumps and doorways with ease.

The front wheels can be locked into a forward position or let them swivel which can be helpful when crossing rough terrain. When we walked along the stony path we allowed them to swivel and it handled this fairly well, though it did appear more bumpy than the other models on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is most famous for its 3-wheeled all-terrain strollers for jogging. But they also produce a wide selection of pushchairs with four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It is simple to use and folds small enough to fit into a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It's heavier than other strollers that we test, but since it comes with rubber composite wheels it feels solid and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver on various terrains and even with two children with shopping bags and other items.

The carrycot and the seat both come with hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are sturdy and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams, which can be blown back into toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it comes with an ample basket that is deep enough to accommodate a changing bag or plenty of food. You can also connect it with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies as big as 20 lb (car seat and adapters are sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a excellent choice if you wish to use a stroller on the go.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that won the hearts of a lot of parents when it first appeared. It's a stroller made of aluminum that can be used from baby's first days to beyond. It comes with a variety of stand-out features including the ability to flip the seat from parent to world-facing, a huge UPF 50+ canopy that has an eye-shade that flips out, a spacious basket and adjustable handlebar.

The chassis comes with a suspension system built-in that reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made of tough foam, which reduces punctures. Our tester found it to be smooth to push and was able to manoeuvre it through tight streets with ease.

It folds in four simple steps and locks automatically without fuss. It can also be rolled and repositioned for easy transport down the stairs, or in the car's boot. The travel system is also offered with the option of adding an additional car seat or carrycot using the adaptors included. The brakes are a single handle stroller action and are color coded. They also work with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget single pushchair is surprisingly easy to maneuver and comes with an excellent dual suspension system, one-hand fold and a convenient carry strap. It is also lightweight single stroller and robust. The seat can be reclined in several positions. It is equipped with a double breathable mattress that's suitable from birth.

The canopy/seat features two large fixed or flip-out sun visors, both of which are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal because it's not as quiet as Velcro, and can wake up napping babies.

The Duet is a side-by-side stroller and can be configured to accommodate twins or siblings (up to 22kg max per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and even works with a few carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be set so that they face each other. They can also be set to face the parents. This will help lessen sibling fights over who sits with mom and dad. It comes with a massive bottle holder, gear tray as well as snack trays and the ability to change mats. It also has an automatic frame lock and a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is a great jogger for parents who love to be active. The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets or infant car seats as of yet, but you can use it from day one with the purchase of adapters for most seats by brands such as BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It is simple to fold and assemble in just 5-10 minutes with no tools. The instruction manual is easy to understand and includes multiple languages.
