Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

An upgrade item is an item Upgrader mod (zenwriting.net) that will make certain Pokemon change. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc. It is sometimes offered as a prize at Pokemon GO events.

The Upgrade can also be put in armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to boost their level of use. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, depending on the item type.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer bonus effects or attribute bonuses while the equipment is being used. The equipment being upgraded must have an available upgrade slot to accept the component. Most upgrade components require the item to be upgraded to be above the specified level. Some upgrade components have special effects that are visible when they are applied. Upgrade components can be acquired through crafting, bought from karma traders, traded with other players on the Trading Post or taken from equipment, or acquired as rewards in games.

There are various upgrade components, each with a different bonus. Infusions can be used on non-amulet or legendary ascended items, while enhancements can be utilized on certain back equipment that is ascended. Injecting an upgrade component can destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs which can only be inserted in gathering tools, and enchantments. Both are able to be removed and replaced.

Insignias and enchantments will be displayed their name in the hover display of the item, while upgrades with suffix and prefix will add their name to the end of the name of the equipment (e.g. an Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item upgrade will show the number of upgrades that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, like ligatures and ornaments, fractions, swashes registered trademark symbols, and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel lets you insert and view these special characters as well as regular symbols like em and en dashes as as trademark symbols registered to be used.

Each Glyph provides a character with a boost in primary stats. The glyph can also have up to four secondary stats that influence its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied by other bonuses, except for Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.

The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will display a new window with the Glyphs you have available that can be applied to the selected item level upgrade. Note that only the right type of Glyph can be applied to the selected item, as each weapon, jewelry or armor piece may have an array of different Glyphs.

You can level up Glyphs by working through Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult the dungeon is, the greater the amount of Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph attains level 15 it can be upgraded at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

Once a Glyph is upgraded to its desired level you can activate it by selecting it, then pressing the "enchant" button. The resulting glyph will give the stated bonus and also boost the other nodes in its range on the Paragon Board. It is important to place glyphs where they can best benefit your game, which is why it's a good idea to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs may also offer double bonus when certain conditions are satisfied.

If you're having difficulty finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to display the panel in a variety of perspectives. Each of these views shows the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the list of glyphs further by selecting an option under "Entire Font": for example, punctuation displays only punctuation glyphs, while Math Symbols narrows the choice to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling is a method in which you open a new account to give yourself more opportunities to access a character or weapon that you are interested in. It can be done for you to increase your level faster or to obtain more loot, such as an additional weapon for your character. A lot of players will reroll until the character they desire is available, regardless of ability. It could be because they like the style or personality of the character.

You should ensure that you make clean changes when you restart. This means you should verify locally that the patch passes the pre-commit checks, and you should also conduct a core development test. You should also upload the patch to an issue using an unmodified diff (see What is an interdiff? ).

Sets

Upgrades can bring popular items from single sets to parity with items in higher-end sets. For example, upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to Elite Spired Helm boosts the defense from 217 to 321 while reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a more manageable range.

It's important to remember that not all items in an assortment can be upgraded. Certain sets, such as the FB Sorc spec Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzlers are exceptional in their own way and don't require upgrading. Certain items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are often used, could benefit from an upgrade to improve their value. For these kinds of items, it may be worth the extra expense to upgrade them.
