WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade items increases the level of the item by +3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

The upgraded gear typically has a higher trade value regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or very high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as important for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item level upgrade upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be used to create Enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities, and can be visited anytime to upgrade your gear. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader every few weeks.

Upgrades can cost more based on the item upgrades level, however, they are always less expensive than purchasing new equipment. For instance upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points while buying a similar item from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used for weapon, armor, tool, and accessory upgrades. Players can purchase them from NPCs of item upgraders for a variety of currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it can be used on any weapon or tool with the help of button, which will show an item's preview at its next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrades varies based on the item slot and the current item level, with weapons costing more than bracers or gloves, for example. Each step costs 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Some upgrades give discounts on Flightstones. Once an item upgrader kit has been upgraded to a certain degree it is able to be downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower cost.

Many locations offer item upgrade upgraders which include the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade coupon as well as the chance to obtain a new recipe. Crests

Another significant modification is that crests have one usage therefore it's essential to use them wisely. For instance, it's a good idea make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests with the best equipment available and keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next round of upgrades you plan to make. This is especially relevant for items like trinkets and rings that fill multiple slots.
